Tammy and Thai do this thing in which they will tug on a toy but without TUGGING. They will just stand there, waiting for the other to do something. They will not make a sound or move a muscle. Its bizarre.

Vesper Goes a-Herding….sort of

We took the Mali girls herding today. Thai was stellar in her training time, Tammy sort of had inklings in her first meeting with sheep and Vesper just looked pretty. We met up with Sebastian [Tribal Malinois] and his owner Sara, as well as Steve and Meagen. Steve and Meagen are interested in a Malinois so we dragged them out to a farm to watch our herding practice. We all them trooped into town for a bit o’ lunch at The General Store Cafe [http://www.thegeneralstorecafe.com]

Too bad we had to drive three hours to have a great time but it was worth it!

New video…Sister Thai plays with the kids

I’ve been in So. Cal this week so my opportunity to post has been limited. Been a bit busy with work…..
AND….the home front reports that our crummy internet is out again at the house. I swear Comcast just is not a great company.

That being said, we thought we would post a endearing video of Miss Thai playing with her brothers and sisters. She has taken a HUGE liking to the pack and sometimes will jump in and out as she tries to figure out why she gets these motherly feelings. In this video she plays as much as she can. You can tell she has to be careful. Note the times she gently lays down. Unfortunately, she gets as unnerved by the pups as I do

Be very glad we didn’t film the part where she barfs up her dinner for them…..yummy!

Jackson Meets Thai

Mr. Jackson’s daddy came up from Rhode Island during the ABMC National Specialty and was able to hang out for few hours.

Jackson, at first overwhelmed by all of the Malinois in one place, soon came out of his shell and became the life of the party. At least my party. He was able to meet his breeders Angela and Sandy as well as his surrogate daddy [Me!]. He was still as gorgeous as the day he went home with Ashleigh and Ryan.
