Thank you to Julie and David for what they have done with Cowboy!  They were able to go home with two very nice Rosettes!

I am so proud of our baby. The rally judge was a collie breeder and asked how old she was.  When I told her that she was only 8 months, she was super impressed.  She said that it was amazing that such a young Mal has that much focus and confidence.  It felt really good to hear the judge say that.  I know you guys are really happy with her and so are we but it makes it even better when a judge says so.  :) :) :)

]]> http://www.delriokennels.com/blog/2009/07/malinois_cowboy-july-2009/feed/ 0 Kudos to Brooklyn in Illinois! http://www.delriokennels.com/blog/2009/07/malinois_kudos-to-brooklyn-in-illinois/ http://www.delriokennels.com/blog/2009/07/malinois_kudos-to-brooklyn-in-illinois/#comments Sat, 11 Jul 2009 12:33:28 +0000 Bobby http://www.delriokennels.com/blog/?p=777 So this afternoon Miss Brooklyn ran in her first CPE trial.  We ran the standard course and jumped 16 inches.  Not only did she run perfectly, she had the best course time by more than 25 seconds at 30.07 seconds.  So we got a 1st place ribbon at her 1st run at her 1st trial!  She did even better than I expected her to do.  I knew she’d be ok with the obstacles and wouldn’t care that the judge was in the ring,  but she was even going out to jumps on her own when usually I have to be closer to them than I was.

The above is from Brooklyn’s owner, Kristen, who has been training her for some time.  Additionally, Brooklyn passed her herding Instinct Test and below are the photos from that.
