It’s that time of year again – time for the American Belgian Malinois Club National Specialty. And during the week, we will hold a rescue raffle to raise money to support our Rescue organization
Because its based on volunteers and internal support, we always need any extra help we can get. Sometimes we get a very nice helping hand from those outside of the organization – this means YOU!.
See the note from Christine Clark who is helping run the rescue raffle.
ABMC Specialty 2009 – Malinois Rescue Raffle Donations Desperately Needed!!!
There is still time to make a donation to our raffle fundraiser for the 2009 Specialty. Not sure what to donate…here are a few suggestions:
1) Something easy to send and you can slip in an envelope and just mail it is a gift card of any sort. Just a few examples – Petsmart, Petco, JB Pet, KV Vet, Pet Edge, Wal-Mart, Target, Meijer, etc.
2) A donation of Frontline can also be put in an envelope, as well as a collar, a leash, etc.
3) A themed basket such as a grooming basket, a treat basket, a basket of your dogs favorite toys, a Kong basket, a Frisbee basket, a ball basket, etc.
4) Any one of a kind or unusual items that are handmade, hard to find or just different.
5) A pair of agility jump cup strips.
6) Gently used items you no longer need or want.
7) A photo of something you want to donate and will be more than happy to donate the shipping costs to send the donated item to the winner. Maybe something like all the pieces parts to make a single bar agility jump or a broad jump that someone can use either in obedience or agility training.
Used or new training books, DVD’s, etc.
Remember…donations don’t have to be dog or Malinois related.
Again, most of our donations come from our club members and it is you who help make this fundraiser a success.
Please send all donations to:
Tasha Pluim
250 South Auburn Street
Grass Valley, CA 95945
Thank you all in advance for any donation (large or small) and helping us to keep helping Malinois in need.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the Specialty and I wish you all safe travels.
