The Belgian Malinois is a highly athletic, intelligent and active breed. These are traits that first drew us into the Belgian Malinois. Once you have brought one into your life, you discover how much more there is to fall in love with. The Malinois can bring endless joy and at times, heartache. But throughout the journey with this wonderful breed, you will realize your life is so much more enriched than it would have been without a "Maligator" by your side.
Bobby and Angela live in Frederick County near Winchester, Virginia which is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of northern Virginia, about an hour west of Washington, DC.
Their breeding program takes into consideration temperment and character, first and foremost, as well as the physical health of the parents. The utmost concern is spent on development of the litter through the first few weeks of their lives, and training and upbringing of the Malinois once accepted into their loving homes. We stand by our puppies, not just as breeders, but as champions of the breed and friends of their new owners.
This blog will present you with the images, stories, and videos of our Malinois. At times, we will carry a story and a picture from our extended Malinois family. Feel free to contact us or comment on our site.
I’m soooo far behind with posting pics on del Rio Malinois! But I’m keeping up very well on Facebook if you want up to the hour posts!

Sorry, I’ve been posting all of these photos to Facebook and not to this site! Its a combination of Brit [London du Hameau St. Blaise], Bono [Ireland du Hameau St. Blaise], Dublin [Avonlea Fox in Socks], Thai [Allee Sablee Bangkok del Rio], Tammy [Tango with Balderlo du Baiser Orageux] and the Stupendous Seven of the “D” Litter!

These are a bit wide for the page – I formatted them for Facebook originally. But if you click on the image, you should be able to see the full sized photo.
ENJOY! 7 days and counting until the puppies arrive!
Today is a del Rio anniversary. We have been married four wonderful years and have been del Rio just over 10 years. We took some time to give the dogs some play time. The last picture is from a herding trial in which turkeys were on the menu and a Sheltie thought that was just fine!
December 27, 2011 - 4:23 pmsusan-Bruja mother - Happy Anniversay Bobby and Angela. May you have many more. beautiful photos. Love the last one...run turkey run....
Maya is bred by Sue Haase http://www.rouletsmalinois.com/ from the Wildflower Litter [3/5/2011]. She is just two months older than Dublin. She has an awesome temperament and exhibits the finer points that we are seeking from her sire.
